How it works
A clear, guided process from the first quote request to the final design plan.
1. Request your quote
Start with our quick 2-minute form and tell us about your space, goals, and the kind of support you’re looking for.
2. Share your style + room details
Once your project is confirmed, we’ll send a design inspiration questionnaire to understand your taste, priorities, and vision for the room. We’ll also gather photos, measurements, budget, and any existing pieces we should consider.
3. Review your design together
We’ll meet on Zoom to walk through your custom design plan, talk through the selections and layout direction, gather your feedback, and make any needed refinements.
4. Receive your final plan + guidance
Once your design is finalized, you’ll receive your completed design plan with shopping links and styling notes. You may also schedule your included implementation guidance call for extra support as you begin bringing the design to life.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Is this different from a premade mood board?
Yes. A premade mood board is created around a general look or room style. Our e-design service is custom to your space, style, budget, priorities, and existing pieces.
Do we meet with you during the process?
Yes. This is a guided design experience. We’ll meet with you on Zoom to review your design plan, talk through the selections and layout direction, gather your feedback, and make refinements as included in your plan.
Do you help with implementation?
You’ll receive a finalized design plan with shopping links, layout direction, and styling notes so you can bring the room together at your own pace. You may also schedule your included implementation guidance call for extra support as you begin putting the design into place.
Do you recommend paint colors or wallpaper?
Yes. When it fits the design, we can include paint color recommendations and wallpaper options as part of your room plan. We always recommend testing paint samples and reviewing wallpaper samples in your own space before purchasing or installation, since lighting and materials can appear different in person.
Do I have to buy everything at once?
No. Your design plan can be implemented at your own pace. Many clients choose to purchase in phases while following the overall direction of the plan. Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee how long the suggested products will be in available/in stock. We will offer replacement options up to 90 days from the date of the deliverables.
Can you work within my budget?
We’ll ask about your preferred investment range before we begin so we can source with your budget in mind. If we feel the budget may not align with the scope of the room or the look you’re hoping to achieve, we’ll talk through that with you before starting the design. Our goal is to create a plan that feels beautiful, realistic, and thoughtful for the investment you’re comfortable making.
Can you work with pieces I already own?
Yes. If you have existing pieces you’d like us to consider, we’ll review them as part of the design process and include them when they support the overall direction.
Do you offer product discounts?
When available through our vendors, we’re happy to pass along eligible discounts on recommended pieces. Availability varies by vendor and item, so discounts are not guaranteed.
Is this available outside of our local area?
Yes. E-design is completed virtually, so we can work with clients outside our local service area.
